School resumes Aug. 29

School Starts Monday!

Welcome Back! The school year begins on Monday, Aug. 29.  Student schedules will be available starting at 8:00 A.M. Sixth grade students will pick theirs up in the south quad (near Library). Seventh graders will get theirs at the lunch tables, and eighth graders in the north quad.  Please follow the signs for your grade level and last name.

School starts promptly at 8:50.  Dismissal time is 3:35.

We are excited about starting a new school year and look forward to seeing everyone on Monday!

Fall Fundraiser Begins!

Each year, we depend on this fundraiser to help with activities and supplies. The money raised helps with dances, materials for ASB, GET, and WEB, school clubs, instructional supplies, and more. Please consider helping us meet our goal this year. Click on the image below for full information, and thanks for helping.

Sign Up to Receive School Text Messages via Remind!

We are adding the Remind app to our communication tools!  You can sign up for either text messages or email sent to your phone.  Our reminders will be short and timely (picture day, minimum day, etc).  We hope this helps your busy family stay informed.  Please follow the instructions below to sign up to receive these messages.  Texting fees from your service provider will apply.

Acts of Kindness

We are promoting "Kindness Day" on Thursday, May 5. Classes will support random acts of kindness, and ASB has activities and ideas. This is a great time to talk with your children about the importance of being kind, and have them experience the good feeling of helping others. Perhaps your family could do something in your neighborhood, an act of kindness for a specific neighbor, or something for a team or organization. Maybe it's time to clean out some items and donate to a charity. Perhaps some allowance could be contributed to a good cause. The trait of kindness can be taught and strengthened with effort.

The Orange County Department of Education is launching its "One Billion Acts of Kindess" initiative May 5. Click the link for to see what they have planned, and how you can record and share your acts of kindness. This is definitely a trait we all want to see in ourselves and others.

We envision our school as a place where we:

  • Learn in a collaborative and supportive environment
  • Strive for continuous academic improvement
  • Participate in engaging, active, and challenging learning
  • Develop integrity and good character
