Interim Principal - Richard Nagy

It is an honor to introduce myself as the new Interim Principal of Yorba Linda Middle School. Having spent many years serving this school and our district, I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to lead a community that means so much to me.

My career in education began right here at Yorba Linda Middle School, where I served as a special education teacher for 13 years.

Since then, I have had the opportunity to serve our district in several leadership roles, including Attendance Director, Dean of Discipline, and most recently, Assistant Principal at Yorba Linda Middle School. Prior to my career in education, I worked in juvenile corrections and as a Deputy Probation Officer, experiences that helped shape my belief in the importance of relationships, accountability, compassion, and providing young people with opportunities to grow.

Throughout my career, I have remained committed to creating schools where students feel safe, supported, connected, and challenged to reach their potential. As Interim Principal, my priorities will continue to center on strong relationships, high expectations, student achievement, a positive school culture, and meaningful partnerships with our staff and families.

One of the things I value most about Yorba Linda Middle School is the strength of our community. Our teachers and staff care deeply about our students, and our families are tremendous partners in their education. I believe the best schools are built through collaboration, open communication, and a shared commitment to doing what is best for students.

I am excited about what lies ahead and humbled to have the opportunity to serve our students, staff, and families in this new role. My door is always open, and I look forward to continuing to build relationships with each of you as we work together to make Yorba Linda Middle School an exceptional place for every student.

Stronger Together. Go Bobcats!
